It is of great interest to find out the mechanism behind the adhesion and mobility of cells on the surface of biomaterials. By understanding the cues that trigger the different behavior of cells, we will be able to design biomaterials with features which enhance the interaction between cell and surface. My work focuses on systematically studying the variations of the features from the materials and finding out the relationship between those changes and the different behavior of cells.
