- Cigdem Yesildag started her PhD in the Lensen Lab. Currently, we have two new Bachelor students in the group; Stefanie Gabler and Christoph Bartsch.

New Lensen Lab members:

- Two new colleagues, Ren Fang and Zhaofei Ouyang, started their PhD (in 2012 and 2013, respectively) with a stipend from the Chinese Scholarship Council.

Completed Theses:

- In 2013, Axel Löbus and Christine Strehmel successfully defended their PhD theses, and the new colleague Tina Sabel, too.

- Also in 2013, two master students, Cigdem Yesildag and Mishu Sarqume, and one bachelor student, Paul Gruner, joined the group. The ladies successfully finished in 2014, while the gentleman already completed his thesis in 2013.
- This year (2014), Manar Arafeh obtained her PhD degree as well.

2012

In 2012, Vera Schulte received her PhD degree „mit Auszeichnung“ (summa cum laude).

2011

- Marga gave the plenary, opening lecture at Euro Biomat Conference in Jena

- Axel won the first poster prize at the same conference

- In April 2011, a BIG NSE fellow, Manar Arafeh has joined the Lensen Lab as a PhD student

- Christine won a poster prize in Dublin at the ESB conference!

- From the 1st of July, a new PhD student, Gonzalo de Vicente Lucas, has joined the team

- Jenny has returned to the Lensen Lab!

2010

- Since July 1st, 2 new PhD students; Christine Strehmel and Axel Loebus (both DE) have joined the team
